CCSB obtained TW patent for Teduglutide
The Taiwanese Patent Office has granted Chunghwa Chemical Synthesis & Biotech Co. Ltd. (CCSB) a process patent on the API manufacturing of Teduglutide on July 11, 2017. The patent “METHOD OF PREPARING GLUCAGON-LIKE PEPTIDE 2 (GLP-2) ANALOG” (I 591177) is based on proprietary technology of genetic engineering developed by CCSB, including novel manufacture method and solutions to previous issues such as enzymatic cleavage system and production price. In addition, the patent technology improves API product solubility, precise cleavage, hydrolysis efficiency and production yield.
