Chunghwa Chemical Synthesis & Biotech  Co. Ltd. (CCSB) founded in 1964, is the largest bulk pharmaceutical manufacturer in Taiwan, located in the suburb of Taipei with

                         a manufacturing site of 8.7 acres.

CCSB is a member company of CHINA CHEMICAL PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP (CCPG). its affiliates, China Chemical Pharmaceutical Corporation (CCPC) in Taiwan and Suzhou Chung-Hwa Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industrial Co. Ltd. (SCCPC) in Suzhou, China constitute two of the largest pharmaceutical formulators in these areas. The most recent investment to construct and upgrade these three companies amounts to $100

millions US dollars.

CCSB has developed more than 30 bulk pharmaceutical products including Anti-Anxiety agent;  Antidiabetics; Laxatives; Antifungals; Antihistamines; Antiseptics; Antiulcerants;Cardiovascular drugs; Skeletal and muscle relaxants, Hypolipaemics and immunosuppresant.In 1984, CCSB was the first pharmaceutical manufacturer in Taiwan inspected and approved by FDA for cGMP compliance. CCSB has filed DMF's for 13 products with the FDA. In December  2005,CCSB passed again the FDA inspection of their cGMP plant to produce synthesis and biotechnology products.

CCSB has established a sales office, in 1999 PHARMAPORTS   LLC in Exton, PA USA to promote its products and provide better services to the North American region. Together, the group has formed an international network providing pharmaceutical ingredients

and finished dosages.
